Position: Senior Accounting Professional for Indigenous Services
Location: Greater Sudbury

Empower Indigenous communities as a Senior Accountant with MNP. Here, your CPA credentials will be used to support over 250 organizations with financial management.

You will play a vital role in providing financial insights to Indigenous Services while mentoring junior staff. Your deep understanding of accounting principles will be essential in helping navigate economic challenges faced by these communities. Collaboration with funders and clients prepares them for financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and summarize financial health via periodic reports

• Assist clients in meeting government reporting requirements

• Conduct assessments of audit evidence for accuracy

• Organize documentation for improved audit readiness

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients in the field

Requirements:

• Required CPA designation

• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting

• Knowledge of First Nations community accounting is an asset

• Proficient in GAAP and not-for-profit standards

• Experience with accounting and tax software is necessary
