Lead mining operational readiness initiatives at Agnico Eagle in Ontario. Drive project success through collaboration with technical teams while promoting safety and environmental standards.
As the Manager, reporting to the Director of Ontario Operations, you will oversee operational readiness and preparedness for various projects.
Your role involves leading the team during technical reviews and ensuring that objectives align with Agnico Eagle’s values. You will implement readiness plans to transition smoothly from construction to mining operations, ensuring all environmental and safety regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical reviews during the studying and construction phases
• Implement readiness plans across different disciplines
• Build the operational team for mining activities execution
• Support permitting strategies for the Hammond Reef Project
• Coordinate data collection from stakeholders
Requirements:
• 10+ years in mining with construction experience
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation in Ontario
• Excellent project coordination and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to periodically travel to sites
Utilize strong communication and technical skills to enhance projects while supporting Agnico Eagle's operational goals in Ontario.
