As a Construction Miner, you will execute various construction and maintenance tasks crucial for mining safety and efficiency. The role requires knowledge of construction methods specific to mining and a commitment to adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates are hands-on and collaborative individuals ready to apply their technical skills in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct shotcrete operations and build various structures
• Install ground support and stabilize rock mass
• Operate drills and pneumatic tools effectively
• Use mobile machinery safely in underground settings
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certification in Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core
• Familiarity with mining safety regulations
• Strong multitasking and teamwork capabilities
