Construction Manager for Mining Projects

Stantec is searching for a Construction Manager to enhance our Mining Team. In this pivotal role, you'll manage the execution of comprehensive construction tasks for mining projects, focusing on safety, efficiency, and quality excellence. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to maintain high standards and achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with policies and quality management

• Develop and implement safety programs and training

• Oversee construction planning and staffing for new projects

• Provide constructability advice and technical analyses

• Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements:

• 30 years experience in construction management

• Strong knowledge of EPCM and alternative project delivery

• Demonstrated leadership and client management skills

• Proficiency in construction management software

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
