Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and assess incoming emergency calls promptly

• Dispatch police, fire, or medical services as required

• Operate computerized communication systems accurately

• Maintain composure while interacting with distressed callers

• Stay current on protocols through ongoing training

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma required

• Prior experience in emergency services is advantageous

• Exceptional communication and active listening skills

• Ability to type 20 words per minute

• Bilingual in English and French or Spanish
