Location: greater sudbury
Teach the next generation of carpenters as a part-time professor at Cambrian College in the Carpentry Renovation Techniques Program. Share your expertise and inspire students.
Cambrian College is looking for part-time professors to instruct in the Carpentry Renovation Techniques and Apprenticeship Programs. Applicants must have the 403A Red Seal Qualification and at least five years of professional experience in carpentry. Strong communication abilities and a creative teaching approach are key to fostering student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and develop carpentry course materials
• Use innovative teaching methods to support student learning
• Lead by example as an effective classroom role model
• Utilize technology for educational purposes
• Collaborate with peers to enhance educational offerings
Requirements:
• Valid 403A Red Seal Qualification required
• Five years of relevant industry experience needed
• Ability to communicate and connect with students
• Strong organizational skills and team collaboration
• Teaching experience at the postsecondary level is a plus
