Independent Drum Instructor ON

Unleash your drum teaching skills at Long & McQuade in Sudbury, Ontario. This contract Lessons Teacher role requires availability on weeknights and weekends for aspiring drummers.

As a Lessons Teacher, you will act as an independent contractor at the Long & McQuade Lesson Centre. Candidates should possess a music degree or Grade 8 RCM standing along with a keen understanding of teaching methods to create an engaging learning experience. Previous teaching experience is a must to cater to students of all ages effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach drum lessons tailored to individual student needs

• Implement recognized teaching methods in classes

• Create lesson plans for both private and group settings

• Make learning enjoyable and rewarding for students

• Maintain a positive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a reputable school

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing or professional equivalency

• Experience teaching a range of ages

• Strong knowledge of lesson curriculum

• Flexible hours during evenings and weekends
