Levert is looking for a driven and safety-conscious Geology Technician to support mine production activities at a leading Arctic mining operation.
Working closely with the Mine Geology team, you will play an important role in grade control, drilling coordination, and geological data management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on field work, values precision, and understands the importance of accurate sampling and clear communication within a production environment.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain safe work practices and promote environmental compliance on site
• Complete and verify ore block layouts to match mine plans
• Support ore polygon tracking and ensure geological data accuracy
• Update and maintain grade control block models throughout the production cycle
• Oversee blast hole identification and sampling activities
• Ensure required waste and rock classification sampling is completed properly
• Work closely with drill crews to ensure representative sample collection
• Review and interpret geological information to support ore modeling and reconciliation
• Communicate geological updates clearly with operations, engineering, and geology teams
• Update drilling information and maintain accurate geological databases
• Provide updated drilling layouts and information for weekly reporting
• Apply strong technical knowledge related to grade control, QA/QC, sampling, dilution control, and reconciliation
• Contribute geological insight related to orogenic gold systems
What You Need to Succeed
• Diploma or degree in Geology, Mining, or a related field (or equivalent field experience)
• Previous experience in mine geology or grade control environments preferred
• Strong understanding of sampling standards and QA/QC practices
• Comfortable working with geological databases and mine planning software (Datamine experience considered an asset)
• Ability to work safely in an active mine setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities
• Experience in remote or Arctic operations is considered an asset
• Successful completion of the SPEEXX English language assessment
