Position: Senior Mechanical Technologist at EXP
Location: greater sudbury

Elevate your career as a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technologist with EXP in New Liskeard, Northern Ontario. Engage in mechanical design, drafting, and project coordination for industrial and infrastructure projects.
In this full-time role, you'll be integral in supporting mechanical systems, collaborating closely with engineers, clients, and contractors. Ideal candidates will possess leadership capabilities and hands-on experience in the field. You’ll leverage your knowledge in CAD software like Solid Works and AutoCAD, while mentoring junior team members for technical growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed mechanical drawings and models using CAD software

• Develop specifications and perform basic engineering calculations

• Coordinate with engineers and contractors on project tasks

• Prepare documentation, including BOMs and test reports

• Conduct field inspections and quality checks
Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology

• CET certification or equivalent preferred

• Proven experience in mechanical design and multidisciplinary projects

• Advanced proficiency in Solid Works, AutoCAD, and Inventor

• Strong understanding of HVAC and rotating equipment systems
