Mining Civil Engineer in Ontario

Location: greater sudbury

Join EXP as a Mining Civil Engineer in Ontario, contributing to challenging projects through advanced engineering calculations and design. You'll engage in diverse tasks, from field exploration to project management.
This role requires an experienced Civil Engineer with at least five years of experience in mining or industrial design projects. You will be responsible for executing complex engineering evaluations, preparing technical specifications, and reviewing work completed by junior engineers. Your expertise will support the execution of tasks related to cost estimation, project management, and construction quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations for seepage and stability

• Prepare technical specifications across multiple disciplines

• Plan field exploration programs for site investigations

• Review junior engineers' technical work and provide feedback

• Develop grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering and P. Eng. registration

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mining projects

• Experience in pipe and channel hydraulics design

• Proficiency with stormwater management assessments

• Strong organizational and communication skills
