Position: Senior Mining Structural Engineer at EXP

Drive innovative mining projects with EXP as a Senior Structural Engineer in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay. Expertly design steel structures while collaborating with diverse teams.

In this senior role, you will join the Mining team at EXP, utilizing your 12+ years of experience in civil or structural engineering. Your expertise in site inspections, design analysis, and drafting will ensure quality outcomes for mining and heavy industrial projects. You will also mentor junior engineers while preparing detailed reports and engaging with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits for infrastructure assessments

• Analyze and design steel and concrete structures

• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and technical specifications

• Collaborate across disciplines for layout designs

• Mentor junior staff and oversee project execution

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• P.Eng. registration in Ontario required

• Minimum 12 years of relevant project engineering experience

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro and relevant codes

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
