Elevate your career as a Senior Reliability Engineer in the Med Tech sector based in Ottawa, Ontario. With a focus on IVD product development, this role requires expertise in reliability strategies and hands-on testing.
We are looking for a seasoned engineer with over 10 years of experience specifically in medical device reliability. This role demands a thorough understanding of reliability requirements, strong skills in DFMEA/PFMEA assessments, and execution of reliability testing strategies for IVD products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing is essential to ensure Design for Reliability (DFR).
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute reliability test strategies for IVD devices
• Lead DFMEA and reliability risk assessments
• Design and implement HALT, HASS, and ALT testing programs
• Perform detailed life data analysis using Weibull models
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, and manufacturing teams
Requirements:
• 10+ years in reliability engineering in Med Tech
• Proficiency in Minitab and JMP required
• Experience with HALT, HASS, and ALT testing
• Strong knowledge of ISO and FDA standards
• Hands-on experience with Python or MATLAB preferred
