WSP is looking for a qualified designer with 8 or more years in mechanical engineering to take charge of layout designs for critical industrial projects. Your expertise will be vital in preparing 3D models, coordinating design information, and conducting field engineering assignments. Maintain updated equipment libraries and ensure compliance with departmental standards while producing accurate design calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create layout arrangements and 3D models for upgrades

• Ensure vendor drawings align with engineering specs

• Conduct trade-off studies for informed design decisions

• Collaborate with teams for accurate design communication

• Revise departmental procedures and equipment standards
Requirements:

• Over 8 years of experience in mechanical design

• Solid knowledge of design tools like Revit and Micro Station

• Strong communication skills;
French proficiency is an asset

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering Technology

• Positive problem-solving attitude and team collaboration
