Deliver practical metallurgical solutions with XPS as an Intermediate Pyrometallurgist in Sudbury, Ontario. Your expertise will support clients in non-ferrous metals through consulting-led projects.

XPS is seeking an Intermediate Pyrometallurgist for its Extractive Metallurgy team. In this role, you will tackle complex metallurgical challenges and drive operational improvements across diverse projects. Collaborate with clients and junior engineers to deliver key insights and support technical studies, emphasizing practical, data-driven advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve metallurgical challenges and enhance plant performance

• Provide expert advice on smelting and refining processes

• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts

• Develop process designs and flow sheets for operations

• Manage projects ensuring safety and quality goals are met

Requirements:

• Degree in Metallurgical or Process Engineering

• 6 to 10 years of pyrometallurgy experience

• Background in plant operations and technical consulting

• Familiarity with process modeling tools is a plus

• Strong technical communication skills
