Elevate CAD tool capabilities as a CAD Automation Engineer for MILE and Quantum teams in Greater Sudbury. Focus on enhancing workflows and tool efficiency in mixed-signal design environments.
This role is essential for supporting the MILE and Quantum teams in maintaining and optimizing CAD environments. You will troubleshoot issues and improve automation while collaborating closely with design and infrastructure teams. Your primary objective is to ensure a stable, scalable environment for analog design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and debug scripts for CAD workflows
• Enhance existing automation flows for analog designs
• Troubleshoot issues in scripting and EDA tools
• Optimize tool flows in Linux environments
• Collaborate with design teams for reliable solutions
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems
• Proven Python scripting skills
• Understanding of Tcl, Perl, and Ruby
• Experience with EDA/CAD tools like Cadence, Calibre, and StarRC
• Background in semiconductor or VLSI design preferred
Contribute to CAD automation and support analog design teams effectively in Greater Sudbury.
