The City of Greater Sudbury needs a forward-thinking Facilities Engineer to support ongoing water and wastewater initiatives.

Your role will involve leading capital projects and conducting detailed engineering studies. By leveraging your expertise, you will ensure the safe delivery of water services and contribute to public health and environmental integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead infrastructure projects for treatment plants and pumping stations

• Conduct feasibility studies and lifecycle assessments

• Manage project specifications, budgets, and timelines

• Collaborate with various stakeholders throughout projects

• Review technical outputs for constructability and compliance
Requirements:

• Degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering

• Minimum six years of related engineering experience

• Familiarity with water treatment processes and regulations

• Eligible for Professional Engineers Ontario membership

• Valid Class G driver's license with a good record
