Position: Project Engineer for Reliability Initiatives

Become a key player at Peter Lucas Project Management as an Operational Reliability Project Engineer, located in Blind River, Ontario. This on-site, full-time role drives asset performance and project success in fast-paced industrial environments.
The ideal candidate will possess 4-9 years of engineering experience focused on projects, reliability, and process management. You will be responsible for steering a portfolio of reliability-driven projects, enhancing maintenance strategies, and aligning teams to meet site goals. Your problem-solving abilities will be crucial in navigating project complexities and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead reliability initiatives from idea to detailed execution

• Execute non-routine maintenance projects and engineering tasks

• Support equipment selection and specification processes

• Oversee revisions and updates to engineering drawings

• Ensure adherence to engineering governance standards
Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, or electrical engineering

• 4-9 years’ engineering experience in relevant sectors

• Must hold P. Eng designation (PEO required)

• Familiarity with ASME & ASTM codes for piping

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and SAP
