Project Manager for Mining Projects

Lead impactful mining projects with WSP, where your expertise in project management and engineering can truly shine. You'll coordinate multidisciplinary efforts while ensuring project delivery aligns with resource and budget planning.
WSP is seeking a Project Manager within its Resources subsector. Here, you will support mining and heavy industrial clients by leveraging 8+ years of consulting experience and 3+ years in project management.

Your role involves optimizing workforce planning, managing project schedules and cost controls, and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive resource and budget planning for project success

• Coordinate engineering deliverables for seamless execution

• Optimize workforce planning for project efficiency

• Own project schedules, ensuring timely reporting

• Manage project changes proactively to mitigate risks
Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (EIT, CET, P.Eng. preferred)

• 8+ years of consulting experience in mining industry

• 3+ years of hands-on project management experience

• Strong communication skills for client interactions

• Valid driver’s license required
