Job Overview
Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Sudbury (ON) office to lead mining sector projects and support business development.
Key Responsibilities- Managing day‑to‑day project execution for a portfolio of projects.
- Oversee project delivery, including development and review of technical and administrative deliverables, coordination of technical task leads, and internal/external project meetings.
- Guide multi‑disciplinary engineering projects.
- Support and be an active member of the business development and account management teams.
- Assess project risks, technical scope, and engineering analyses to manage scope and quality reviews.
- Develop budgets, determine project scopes, and maintain schedules.
- Manage project budgets and schedules for internal success and client satisfaction.
- Manage project set‑up and close‑out.
- Ensure QA/QC standards and attention to detail.
- Provide understanding of contracts and pricing structures.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder interaction skills with internal teams and external clients.
- Exceptional organizational, technical, and leadership abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- B.S. in engineering or science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years of multidisciplinary engineering or project management experience.
Locations Outside of Lower Mainland – BC & Various locations in Ontario: $ – $ annually.
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions where required. The final agreed compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience and work location. Certain roles may be bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles is pro‑rated based on agreed working hours per week.
