Hexagon Design Technologist Position

Location: Greater Sudbury

Become a Design Technologist with Hexagon Integrated Machine Systems, where you'll design, document, and innovate solutions in engineering design. This position includes occasional onsite work near Sudbury.

As a Design Technologist, you will prepare engineering drawings, develop design concepts, and document technical specifications. You will collaborate with team members to ensure that design projects meet specifications and industry standards. A focus on detail and a self-starting attitude will drive success in this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engineering designs from various data sources

• Produce and verify documentation packages

• Generate and revise CAD drawings according to specifications

• Collaborate with teams on design concepts

• Document all design activities accurately

Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualification in engineering design

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments is a plus

• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision

• Confident working in a collaborative team

• Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
