Position: Senior Civil Engineer (Mining) at EXP
Location: Greater Sudbury

EXP is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Mining to join its team in various Ontario locations. Utilize your technical prowess to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

As a key member of the Mining team, you will bring a minimum of five years' experience in civil engineering, focusing on mining or industrial design.

Your role involves creating engineering models, managing field exploration, and ensuring project specifications are meticulously prepared. You'll assist in project management tasks while providing quality assurance testing on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete engineering evaluations for hydrology and drainage

• Assist in preparing interpretive reports for project design

• Coordinate fieldwork and data gathering for site assessments

• Review and mentor less experienced engineering staff

• Prepare cost estimates and specifications for projects

Requirements:

• Professional Engineering designation in Ontario

• 5+ years in civil engineering with mining background

• Solid grasp of hydrology, piping, and geotechnics

• Experience in technical report writing and evaluations

• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
