Your Role as a Civil Engineering Graduate:Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home a Civil Engineering Graduate, your role will include:
- Working directly with Civil Engineers and other discipline team members as part of an integrated project team.
- Design, internal coordination, project management, and providing technical support to clients for industrial and mining projects, from concept to completion.
- Applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design civil infrastructure, including, but not limited to site development, mine water management, access and haul roads, pipelines, drainage infrastructure, and buried water and sewage infrastructure.
- Preparing Civil design drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Micro Station.
- Assisting engineers and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Participating in the preparation of proposals, reports, specifications, and budget estimates.
- Occasional site visits and inspection duties for a various mine sites in the North.
- Demonstrating organizational, administrative, observational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
