Join the Mining Team at EXP as an Electrical Engineer, based in Sudbury or North Bay, ON. This role emphasizes PLC, power, and automation experience to deliver engineering excellence.
As an Electrical Engineer at EXP, you will oversee design concepts, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. You will manage multiple projects while applying risk management practices to electrical engineering tasks. This position demands collaboration, innovative thinking, and strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design development and execution for mining projects
• Verify quality of Designer’s work against engineering standards
• Execute complex electrical designs with challenging requirements
• Manage work plans and project deliverables effectively
• Conduct HAZOP, PHA, and safety reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) required
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the mining industry
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Proven ability to evaluate engineering risks
