Position: Senior Electrical Designer for Mining Projects
Location: greater sudbury

Elevate your career as a Senior Electrical Designer at EXP, focusing on mining projects in St. Johns, NL;
Brampton, Sudbury; or North Bay, ON. Collaborate with engineers to create essential electrical designs and contribute to project success.
At EXP, you’ll leverage over 10 years of experience in heavy industrial design within an EPCM environment while joining the mining team. Utilize your skills in AutoCAD, Micro Station, or REVIT to draft single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and detailed project documentation.

Your role will also require you to assist in power and lighting designs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate electrical drawing packages

• Design power & lighting layouts and control systems

• Draft using AutoCAD, Micro Station, or REVIT

• Issue documentation packages for projects

• Collaborate on multiple mining projects with deadlines
Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in heavy industrial design

• Instrumentation design experience required

• Technical college graduate with mining experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

• Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards
