Position: XPS Process Metallurgist Role
Enhance non-ferrous metal processes as an Intermediate Process Metallurgist with XPS in Sudbury, Ontario. Engage in client-focused solutions offering data-driven metallurgical insights.

XPS is on the lookout for an Intermediate Pyrometallurgist to join their consulting practice. This position presents an opportunity to tackle metallurgical challenges for clients while focusing on operational optimization and process design. Applicants should have a strong background in pyrometallurgy, with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide solutions for metallurgical and operational challenges

• Advise on smelting and refining techniques

• Assist with troubleshooting and improvement initiatives

• Participate in process design and technical studies

• Draft project proposals in alignment with client expectations

Requirements:

• Degree in Metallurgy, Materials or Process Engineering

• 6-10 years of experience in extractive metallurgy

• Background in base metals or precious metals

• Familiarity with process modeling software

• Strong communication and analytical skills
