Location: Greater Sudbury
Hatch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead dynamic projects across mining, energy, and infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership with project management for impactful global solutions.
In the Sudbury office, you'll guide a team of professionals in the successful execution of electrical design tasks and EPCM projects.
Your role focuses on providing technical guidance, mentoring engineers-in-training, and facilitating effective communication within diverse teams. This position is pivotal for ensuring project success and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the team of Electrical Engineers and Designers
• Mentor and guide engineers-in-training
• Prepare detailed specifications and project documentation
• Check compliance of vendor drawings with industry standards
• Develop project design studies and proposals
Requirements:
• 12+ years in industrial EPCM projects
• Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
• Proficiency in electrical design software like ETAP and Easy Power
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to excel in multidisciplinary team settings
