Senior Estimating Expert at DMC Mining

Join DMC Mining in Val Caron, Ontario as a Senior Estimator. This role focuses on crafting detailed budgets and methodologies for engineering and mining projects with a hybrid work arrangement.
As a full-time Senior Estimator, you will report to the Director of Estimating while applying your extensive experience in project estimation. Your responsibilities include preparing bid documents, managing project schedules, and performing first-principles calculations. Experience in construction estimating and familiarity with InEight software is crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bid and tender documents for projects

• Review and support colleague estimations

• Manage project schedules and cash flow projections

• Conduct feasibility studies and site visits

• Create detailed methodologies and performance metrics
Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Degree in Mine Engineering or similar

• 6+ years of relevant estimating experience

• Proficient in InEight Estimate and scheduling software

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines effectively
