Director of Municipal Engineering Services

Location: greater sudbury

Become the Director of Engineering Services for the City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Enhance municipal projects and community sustainability through effective leadership.
This executive position reports to the General Manager of Community Infrastructure and is critical for overseeing the division's engineering services. The Director will ensure the execution of high-impact municipal projects and develop budgets aligned with organizational priorities. The candidate should possess extensive experience in managing public or private engineering sectors, with an emphasis on collaboration and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for engineering services and project management

• Execute business plans in line with strategic objectives

• Collaborate with various stakeholders for infrastructure development

• Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively

• Ensure best practices in permitting and engineering standards
Requirements:

• Degree in engineering or related discipline

• Six years of senior management experience minimum

• Must meet eligibility for Professional Engineers of Ontario

• Proficient English communication with French skills preferred

• Demonstrated leadership capability in dynamic environments
