We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planning Lead to join our Glencore
Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations . This is a full-time, permanent, staff position.
Pay range: $143,000 to $160,000 plus annual variable compensation bonus.
Duties and Accountabilities- Lead the planning and coordination of planned maintenance activities at the Smelter.
- Provide leadership and coordination to maintenance planning, shutdown readiness, and work management processes to support safe and efficient maintenance execution.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support routine maintenance planning, shutdowns, and Down Day activities.
- Collaborate with planners, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure planning priorities align with operational requirements and maintenance execution needs.
Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your growth in this role.
Education and Skills- 8–10 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, budgeting, or shutdown management within an industrial environment.
- Support by a Trade Certification or Engineering Degree in a related discipline, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and maintenance work management processes.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance cost control practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment, and a strong commitment to safety, operational discipline, and collaboration.
