Advance your career as a Mine Technician with DMC Mining Services in Sudbury, ON. This full-time position involves vital contributions to underground construction and development projects while ensuring safety and compliance.
DMC Mining Services is seeking a dedicated Mine Technician for a contract role on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. In this role, you will assist in underground operations, focusing on project specifications, adherence to QA/QC standards, and effective communication with the construction team and Project Engineer. Your skills in surveying and reporting will be essential for ensuring resource availability for construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize support for underground construction work
• Collaborate with Project Engineer for timely resource availability
• Audit job boards for necessary project information
• Ensure material audits meet upcoming task requirements
• Conduct concrete sampling and testing as required
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mining or Civil Technology
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Ability to perform on-site duties in a collaborative setting
