Shape Canada's mining and infrastructure projects as a Senior Blasting and Vibration Consultant erage your expertise in blasting strategies and vibration monitoring for impactful project outcomes.
In this senior role, you will lead diverse blasting and vibration assessment projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules. Your responsibilities will include developing blast designs, applying geotechnical assessments, and managing environmental compliance. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams will enhance project solutions while mentoring junior professionals fuels growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead drilling and blasting projects from start to finish
• Develop and optimize blast designs and strategies
• Implement monitoring for compliance and protection
• Prepare technical documentation and client presentations
• Engage with clients for project inquiries and support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geological, Mining, or Civil Engineering
• Proven blasting expertise in various environments
• Certification in blasting operations (e.g., Blaster's License)
• Strong analytical and report preparation skills
• Valid driver's license for travel to project sites
Drive safer, more efficient projects in blasting and vibration at WSP, contributing your expertise to the industry.
