This role is perfect for professionals passionate about tackling complex engineering challenges in tailings and waste management. With over 10 years of relevant experience required, you will lead design analysis and drive integrated engineering solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support safe practices in mine waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering design for tailings management systems
• Prepare and review technical documents and cost estimates
• Develop lab test programs for material characterization
• Support field investigations at mine sites
• Deliver technical presentations to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mineral Processing or related field
• 10+ years of tailings dewatering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Willingness to travel for site investigations
Contribute to innovative tailings practices while mentoring junior engineers at Paterson & Cooke’s Sudbury office.
