This senior engineering position is tailored for candidates with over 12 years of mining industry experience. You'll perform critical analysis and collaborate on detailed drawings while mentoring junior engineers in best practices.
Your role will involve the preparation of technical documentation and coordination with diverse teams including clients, ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect mining infrastructure and execute assessments
• Design and oversee structural engineering projects
• Prepare sketches and collaborate for detailed design
• Conduct reviews of junior engineers' work
• Prepare and finalize technical memos and reports
Requirements:
• Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an accredited university
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
• Extensive design and construction experience in heavy industry
• Knowledge of mining processes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
