Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer in Mining Sector
Location: Greater Sudbury

As part of WSP's Resources subsector, you will play a key role in leading mechanical and piping engineering efforts. You’ll oversee everything from early concepts to detailed execution, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver effective systems. This opportunity is available from various locations including Northern Ontario, BC, and Atlantic regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering packages across all project phases

• Apply codes and standards to develop compliant systems

• Review mechanical calculations for critical asset performance

• Develop project standards and specifications for quality

• Resolve complex design issues with stakeholders

Requirements:

• 10–14 years' experience in mining or industrial engineering

• Proven expertise in managing EPCM projects

• Hands-on experience with mechanical design elements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering a must

• Professional Engineer eligibility in Canada
