Join Glencore as a Lead Reliability Engineer, spearheading asset management strategies at the Strathcona Mill. This permanent, full-time position ensures operational excellence through effective reliability initiatives.
As the Lead Reliability Engineer, you will report to the Director and be responsible for promoting operational reliability within Glencore's Nickel Operations. This role requires a strategic approach to improving equipment reliability while reducing downtime and increasing throughput. Collaboration with Maintenance, Operations, and Process Control teams is crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable operations across all assets at the mill

• Implement continuous improvement strategies for equipment

• Encourage a culture of reliability among all teams

• Work with engineering and reliability experts to enhance processes

• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members
Requirements:

• 8-10 years in a reliability-focused role in industry

• Degree in relevant engineering field

• Active membership with Professional Engineers of Ontario

• Familiarity with failure analysis and condition monitoring

• Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities
