Temporary Lands Technician

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, this role requires strong expertise in mining land regulations and land disposition projects. You'll review applications, conduct environmental assessments, and prepare technical documentation while collaborating with stakeholders, Indigenous communities, and land managers to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review mining land tenure applications and grants
• Conduct Class Environmental Assessments and consultations
• Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations
• Monitor project schedules and ensure deliverables
• Evaluate land management activities for regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• Knowledge of Mining Act and land-related legislation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in technical writing and project coordination
• Computer literacy with relevant software tools
