Position: Project Superintendent at Magna Mining
Location: Greater Sudbury

Lead project delivery for Magna Mining in Sudbury, Canada, focusing on underground mining. Your expertise will ensure the sustainable execution of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Magna Mining Inc. is seeking a Superintendent for its projects, focused on the Sudbury nickel and copper district. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of underground mining experience, including 4 years in a leadership position. You will oversee project planning, coordinate staff activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate project activities for surface and underground teams

• Review and consult on data, including schedules and plans

• Ensure adherence to mining laws and safety regulations

• Maintain accurate and timely site reporting

• Liaise with stakeholders to meet project expectations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

• Certified Project Manager (PMI or PMP) preferred

• Minimum 10 years in Underground Hard Rock Mining

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
