Join WSP’s innovative Energy team as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer. Focus on mechanical design for renewable energy and power generation projects across their lifecycle.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in the EPCM environment. You'll engage in the design of mechanical systems, prepare specifications, and mentor less experienced engineers. Strong collaboration with clients and precision in mechanical design are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design piping and equipment for power facilities
• Prepare RFQs and analyze technical bids
• Evaluate vendor drawings and equipment data
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
• Create construction scopes of work for mechanical systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 6-10 years of design experience in power generation
• Current P.Eng, Ing, or PE license
• Experience with AutoCAD and Smart Plant 3D
• Knowledge of Thermoflow and piping design software
