Join WSP as a Senior HVAC Engineer, leading innovative design projects in Ontario’s mining and industrial sectors. Contribute to sustainable operations through your technical leadership and expertise.
In this role, you will take charge of mechanical HVAC engineering projects, guiding design efforts from initial concept through detailed phases. You'll work closely with cross-disciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers to cultivate their growth and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mechanical HVAC engineering packages for projects
• Develop calculations and specifications for safety and performance
• Collaborate with various teams to meet design standards
• Ensure compliance through document reviews and quality checks
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Over 15 years of relevant engineering experience
• Background in flue gas, dust collection, and ventilation
• Eligible for Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• Proficient in mechanical design and modeling tools
