Senior Engineer in Water Resources Engineering

Location: Greater Sudbury

Actively contribute to sustainable engineering at Stantec as a Senior Water Resources Engineer, located in Markham, Ontario. This role involves deep engagement in hydrologic and hydraulic projects.

You will be integral to the Water Resources Technical Team, managing project tasks and engaging in hands-on fieldwork as needed. Developing work plans while ensuring compliance with industry standards is key to your success. Your mentorship will help cultivate talent amongst junior engineers and enhance team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality projects

• Oversee staff, budget management, and invoicing

• Prepare proposals and define project scopes and plans

• Author detailed reports documenting analytical findings

• Conduct hydrological investigations and analysis

Requirements:

• Graduate degree focused on water resources or hydrology

• Minimum 10 years of related consulting experience

• Professional registration with PEO or PGO

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Proficiency in local water resource legislation
