WSP invites an experienced Lead Blasting and Vibration Consultant to join their dynamic team. You will spearhead crucial blasting projects while optimizing charge designs and conducting environmental assessments. Your technical leadership will ensure compliance with all regulations and foster the development of junior professionals, driving innovation within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the initiation and completion of blasting projects

• Develop innovative blasting designs for improved outcomes

• Implement and report on environmental monitoring programs

• Prepare comprehensive technical documents and client reports

• Mentor and guide less experienced consultants

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geological, Mining, or Civil Engineering

• Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) membership required

• Extensive background in blasting across multiple settings

• Advanced knowledge of environmental evaluations and assessments

• Certification in blasting operations is preferred
