Mechanical Engineering Leader in Mining

Location: Greater Sudbury

Elevate the efficiency of mining operations as a Mechanical Engineering Leader us on optimizing infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

In the Mine Process & Mine Infrastructure group, you'll take charge of mechanical engineering for various industrial and mining facilities. This senior role demands a proactive approach to design and mentoring, while maintaining collaboration with clients and various engineering teams. Your technical leadership will be vital in shaping sustainable mining practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering for complex mining facilities

• Ensure delivery of accurate engineering specifications

• Mentor intermediate and junior engineers

• Collaborate with cross-discipline engineering teams

• Facilitate HAZOPs and constructability assessments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

• Active P.Eng. or eligibility

• 10–15 years experience in plant design

• Extensive knowledge of mining infrastructure

• Proven leadership in fast-paced environments
