Location: greater sudbury
EXP seeks an Advanced Structural Engineer for its mining division in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay. Leverage your extensive design skills in a collaborative engineering environment.
As part of the Mining team, you will apply your 12+ years of project engineering experience to conduct site visits and inspect structural integrity. Your work will include designing steel structures and preparing technical documents while coaching emerging engineers in their roles. Active engagement with clients and adherence to safety standards are vital in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site visits to evaluate existing infrastructure
• Design steel and concrete structures compliant with industry standards
• Collaborate on detailed engineering drawings
• Mentor junior engineers and provide project oversight
• Conduct technical reviews and prepare necessary documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Valid P.Eng. license required in Ontario
• Minimum of 12 years of extensive application in mining
• Proficient in relevant engineering software and codes
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills
