Take on the role of a Senior Reliability Engineer specializing in IVD products, based in Ottawa, Ontario. This opportunity centers around developing essential reliability strategies for medical devices.

We seek a highly qualified engineer with more than 10 years of experience in the Med Tech industry. Your focus will be on reliability testing strategies, risk management, and technical reporting, with a crucial emphasis on regulatory standards. Your collaborative role will involve working with R&D, QA, and manufacturing to ensure design reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create reliability test strategies for IVD medical devices

• Execute DFMEA, PFMEA, and reliability risk assessments

• Facilitate comprehensive lifecycle testing programs

• Conduct in-depth life data analysis and reporting

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams

Requirements:

• 10+ years in reliability engineering (Med Tech experience required)

• Proficient in Minitab/JMP and reliability testing methods

• Expertise in ISO and FDA compliance standards

• Experience in designing custom validation setups

• Familiarity with programming in Python or MATLAB is a plus
