Join Hexagon as a Design Technologist, where you'll create detailed engineering designs and drawings for innovative machine control solutions. This in-office role, within two hours of Sudbury, collaborates using CAD technologies.

At Hexagon's Integrated Machine Systems division, the Design Technologist prepares technical information to enable effective machine control through our extensive product offerings. You will develop engineering designs from concepts, draft detailed plans, and ensure compliance with industry standards using various design tools. Your work will impact the mining sector, promoting safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engineering designs from initial concepts

• Create complete documentation packages and drawing sets

• Check design drawings for compliance with specifications

• Produce detailed drawings using CAD software

• Support field implementations when required

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in engineering design and drafting

• Experience in ISO 9001 environment is a plus

• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision

• Self-starter capable of teamwork across multiple sites

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
