Position: Senior Water Treatment Specialist Role
Location: Greater Sudbury

Lead innovative water treatment initiatives at Magna Mining in Greater Sudbury, Canada. As a Senior Specialist, you will ensure the efficiency of our water treatment systems and compliance with all regulations.

In this senior position, you will be responsible for optimizing operations across multiple treatment facilities.

Your role includes managing teams, troubleshooting equipment, and performing critical water quality analyses. You’ll also assist with the installation of new systems and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily management of treatment plants

• Analyze and maintain chemical dosing systems

• Conduct preventive maintenance and issue resolution

• Train team members on best practices for operations

• Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline

• 5+ years of experience in the water treatment sector

• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and testing

• strong analytical and communication skills

• WHMIS certification and a valid driver’s license
