As a Technologist – Land Development & Municipal Engineering
, you’ll contribute directly to shaping the communities in and around Sudbury
. Your work will support multidisciplinary engineering teams as you help deliver infrastructure projects that improve how people live, move, and connect. This role includes a balanced mix of office design work, field exposure, and collaboration with subject matter experts who champion your growth.

Your Impact
  • Create accurate and detailed AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and 3D models for municipal and land development projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications, quantity summaries, and cost estimates for tender and construction.
  • Complete field inspections to verify design intent, quality, and construction progress.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and technologists to ensure project alignment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, standards, and municipal requirements with support from experienced team members.
  • Assist with proposals, contract administration, and project documentation as needed.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary project coordination that supports public and private sector clients.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Completion of a three‑year Civil Engineering Technology diploma (or equivalent).
  • Eligibility or interest in pursuing the Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation.
  • 0–5 years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in municipal or land development design.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical requirements.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of OPSS
    /
    OPSD and municipal engineering practices.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in both office and field environments.
Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $57,500 – $76,200
MB & ON : $52,500 – $72,300
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $52,000 – $69,000
