Location: Greater Sudbury
Lead structural design projects in mining with EXP in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, ON. Utilize your expertise in steel and concrete to optimize mining infrastructure.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have a vital role in EXP's Mining team. You will analyze and design structures while conducting thorough site inspections. The collaboration with clients and designers will be important as you contribute to detailed sketches and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site visits to inspect existing mining infrastructure
• Analyze and design steel structures and concrete foundations
• Prepare detailed drawings in collaboration with designers
• Coordinate layout designs with clients and disciplines
• Review junior engineers' work and provide mentorship
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 12+ years in project engineering within mining
• Professional Engineer registration in the province
• Experience with structural inspections and assessments
• Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design
