Position: Mining Structural Engineer at EXP
Location: Greater Sudbury

In this senior role, you'll join the Mining team, focusing on the analysis and design of mining structures. Your responsibilities will include site inspections, detailed design sketches, and technical report preparation. You'll coordinate with clients and guide junior engineers while ensuring projects are executed within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site visits for infrastructure assessment

• Design steel structures and concrete foundations

• Collaborate on layout designs with clients

• Prepare engineering calculations and scope documents

• Review work and mentor junior staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• P.Eng. registration within the province

• 12+ years of mining project experience

• Strong knowledge of NBC, OBC codes

• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural design
