Engineering Student

Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Student for our Toronto District to work from Sudbury ON, within our Canadian Buildings Division, for 4 or 8 months starting September 2026.

• Coordinating drawings, work specific scope/trades, trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, hours, rates, deficiency walks, etc.
• Participating in project meetings.
• Inputting / updating deficiency logs and issuing warranties.
• Taking / coordinating progress photos and updating field drawings.
• Producing as-built drawings.
• Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating and supervising sub-trade work.
• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings.
• Setting-up / maintaining record keeping.
• Layout site lines and grades using total station.
• Creating manual schedules, updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software, maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.
• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedules.
• Monitoring workforce productivity.

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.33, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
